We don't want to be the organization that is always asking for donations. But when there is a specific need and we can make a real difference, we believe in stepping up—and giving others the opportunity to step up with us.
During November, Oklahoma Hunters & Anglers (OHA) is making a dedicated effort to help provide CSI-quality metal detectors to Oklahoma’s Game Wardens.
OHA originally approved funding for metal detectors for District 5. Since then, other districts have reached out asking for similar equipment.
These detectors are another tool in the Game Warden’s toolbox—helping them locate evidence and investigate wildlife violations while allowing them to spend their time where it matters most: protecting Oklahoma’s wildlife and our outdoor heritage.
OUR GAME WARDENS NEED THE TOOLS TO DO THEIR JOB
How you can help
This November, Oklahoma Hunters & Anglers (OHA) is making a dedicated effort to help put CSI-quality metal detectors in the hands of Oklahoma’s Game Wardens. OHA originally approved and funded metal detectors for District 5 game wardens. Since then, other districts have reached out asking for similar equipment.
These aren’t toys. They’re another tool in a Game Warden’s toolbox—helping locate evidence, investigate wildlife violations and, ultimately, allowing our wardens to spend their time where it matters most: Protecting Oklahoma’s wildlife and our outdoor heritage.
HERE’S HOW WE’RE KICKING THIS OFF:
- OHA will match the first $500 donated with a matching $500.
- Once that $500 match is met, Rick Nolan, OHA President will personally match the next $100 donated.
NOW WE NEED YOU.
We’re looking for individuals, businesses or companies willing to match the next $100 and so on. Your $100 becomes $200. And if another person or company joins us, we keep building from there.
You don’t have to make a huge donation. Your contribution of $25. $50. $100 can have an impact.
It all adds up—and every dollar goes toward getting equipment into the hands of the men and women protecting Oklahoma’s wildlife.
We don’t want OHA to be the organization that’s always asking for money. But when there’s a specific need, when our Game Wardens ask for help, and when we have an opportunity to make a difference—
WE BELIEVE IN STEPPING UP.
And we’re inviting you to step up with us.
WHO WILL MATCH THE NEXT $100?
If you’re an individual, business or company that wants to help, send OHA a message or visit our website to contribute.
A tax-deductible receipt can be provided upon request for qualifying contributions.
Let’s put another tool in a Game Warden’s hands.
OHA — Raised Here. Stays Here.
Want to Help Match the Match?
OHA is inviting individuals, businesses, and organizations to join us in equipping Oklahoma’s Game Wardens with the tools they need to do their jobs.
OHA has committed the first $500 matching gift. Once that $500 match is met, we want to keep the momentum going.
That’s where you can help.
We’re looking for sponsors to step up and sponsor the next $100 matching gifts. You can help us keep the match going and make every donation to this effort go even further.
Want to sponsor a $100 match?
Email OHA (info@oklahomahuntersandanglers.org) and let us know you’d like to sponsor the next $100 matching gift.
Every $100 match helps stretch every donation further—and puts more resources directly into the hands of Oklahoma’s Game Wardens.
Be one of the match sponsors. Help us keep the match going.
OHA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. A tax receipt can be provided upon request.
