The OHA is no different than any conservation nonprofit; funding is needed to manage the planning, organizing, and running of any organization. One of the things that separates the OHA from most conservation nongovernmental organizations (NGO) is manifested in the way the OHA dispenses its money and resources.
First, the OHA is 100% volunteer-driven. No paid staff, no corporate headquarters to maintain, and no payroll to be met.
Secondly, the OHA’s motto is simply, Raised Here – Stays Here. All funding raised by the OHA and OHA Chapters is to be used in Oklahoma to support mission-centric events and projects that benefit Oklahoma. Not one dime is sent to other states for conservation work; every dollar is put back into the mission here at home, in Oklahoma.
Lastly, the OHA only has three limiting factors. One is our imagination. We are only limited to projects that our vision can conceive. Two, the volunteers to support the project. Lastly, the ability to fund the project.
We Are Asking For Your Support
At this year’s Deer Conference, the OHA volunteers have gathered an ensemble of hunting-related products to be used as door prizes and raffle items.
Each paid attendee to the deer conference has been provided with five (5) door prize tickets. If an attendee wishes to increase their odds of winning an item additional tickets are offered for sale. Feel free to place your ticket in the bucket of any item you wish to win. After the Conference, a drawing will be held and the winning ticket number will be awarded the item.
There is no need to write your name on the ticket, the winning ticket number will be called. You must be present to win.

SW Oklahoma Cow Elk Hunt w/ Tikka 7mm mag & Scope
Private Land, low fence cow elk hunt in Southwest Oklahoma with Wichita Mountain Outfitters and will win a 7mm Mag Tikka & Sig Sauer scope combo. This hunt will be held on private land.
Guns, ammo, transportation to Wichita Mountain Outfitters, and lodging are NOT provided. The hunter must have passed an ODWC approved hunter education course prior to the hunt (regardless of state exemption) and possess the Oklahoma required hunting license. The hunt includes transportation to the field and game retrieval.
